Most of the stuff in this list is gone now and the clearly emaciated mall is practically empty. The DHHS and employment service offices relocated to the newer VA and NE 9th Street (Firstenburg) complexes. Deaf Vibe is still there and the former Worksource office is now a dance studio, there's also a church in there somewhere. The Tower Mall building and I think the entire east half of the parcel is currntly owned by the city and may end up being redeveloped (meaning: knocked down) within the next few years or so.

Was the local Herfy's burger joint until the late 70s or early 80s, then was a couple banks and a construction company and is now (2018) a coffee shop, so it's nice to see it finally being used again for (sort of) its original intention.

It's something else now but I forget what the new establishment's called. Hopefully they don't have the same kind of cougar problem the former had! (Blackstone's was a scary place to be after 2100 on Saturdays.)

Its 2016. I didn't think this place existed any more. My family enjoyed this little gem of a place quite a bit. A nice respite in the middle of busy neighborhoods. I was really sorry to see it developed since someone spent a lot of time creating it. It had meandering trails through beautiful gardens and had all the stations of the cross. A small chapel, little bridges over the creek made this a little paradise.

Tektronix did not move to Beaverton, because Tektronix started in Portland in 1946, moved its headquarters to Cedar Hills area of Portland (now near the NE corner of 217 and US 26) in 1951. It started building warehouse and manufacturing facilities in Beaverton in 1957 where its corporate headquarters moved in 1966. When Tektronix left Vancouver, that division returned to Beaverton.-John Addis, Beaverton, OR

Hi, This is one of your neighbors. can you let me know when you plan to mow the grass surrounding these towers? It is about 4 feet high right now and seems to invite critters to live there. Thanks.

At IQ they ALWAYS are trying to help you out. Everytime I go in there they are so friendly and nice! Of course they are going to offer you services THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE THERE FOR. The difference is that they care about their members and they offer you products to help. If you are looking to just get in and out try a check cashing place because banks and credits unions are ALWAYS going to introduce new products and services to their member. I love IQ, and all their products!

I recently accompanied my developmentally-disabled (AD-HD Autism/cerebral palsy) nephew for a couple of days at Cascade. I was shocked to find that bullying and emotional/mental abuse (student-to-student, and even staff-to-student) are still as much of a problem as when I went here over 20 years ago, if not moreso. There's absolutely no reason why this should be allowed to happen. I'll be recommending to his parents that he be withdrawn from this school and recommending to others that they do the same.

Screw Brother's, this place is cooler and you can literally get three times as much stuff here for the same price as one basic hamburger meal at the other place! And the desserts are way better. Save some money!
